"Song: rapid successions of high tinkling warbles, trills," says Roger Tory Peterson about the Winter Wren.
Wren is a gorgeous and subtle neutral derived from black walnut dye. It lacks any suggestion of yellow or gold and can best be described as mushroomy.
Available in various widths and lengths of bias-cut Habotai, fringed chiffon, and bias-cut organza. Each of these fabrics take dye a little differently, but all came from the same dye pot and so the song is in perfect harmony. They're especially lovely bundled to give a bouquet depth and texture.
Special thanks to the squirrels for leaving just enough this year.
